Puebla, Cuidad Mural

I was invited to participate in a project hosted by "Colectivo Tomate". They started painting murals in 2010 in the neighborhood of Xanenetla, in the city of Puebla, Mexico. Their goal was to rescue Mexican muralist heritage and use it as a tool to make the facades of this historical part of the city more beautiful and representative of the community's complex and intense identity. They have completed thirty two murals in 2010 and 2011. By 2012 the goal was to have 52. I had the opportunity to be part of this project with an amazing crew and we created the Mural "La Chingona". On a abandoned factory in the middle of the town. I met amazing people and artists during the process, indeed and a great experience. Here some images of the process and the result.
